It has been an awfully long time sense I have written anything on this site. In case you are wondering the W series is just fine although I am writing this on an iBook. In the past 6 months (something like that) I have accomplished a whole lot. I am the number one Allen Stafford in google on account of my other site allenstafford.com(down for now) and I bought a mac mini server. I remember how in many of my other posts I was so pumped up about going home from school for x-mas. Now I am wondering what was I thinking. Over the past half a year every reason for me to go home has disappeared or become a reason not to go home. Damn if that doesn’t eat me up.
I did a search for allenstafford on google and it brought back some old memories on was a forum that I hosted at polarhome.com. I had the domain name 42356.com pointed to it. I was amazed to see it. I had almost forgotten about it. I don’t even remember my password to login to it. Since then I have learned a whole lot when it comes to computers. I have my own server collocated now and I ran a much more complex blog at allenstafford.com and an email server to. I set everything up on it and everything. But here I am using my joeuser account, to write a rant about stuff and junk and blah, blah, blah. Maybe this is some kind of condition. Late night sleepless blogging. What do you thing? Well regardless of whatever and junk, I have gained 3 things out of the past 6 months that I was away web development skill (I have a job and I will get my other site back up soon) , a gmail account (gmail is great I forward all my email to it), and a mac mini server (I use it for backup mostly I do my web hosting with a hosting company).
As a side/finishing note (because you know what I mean), I forgot how much I liked my apple computer, but there is something special about the W series maybe it is that object desktop thingy I have for it (but Mac os 10.4 does have dashboard) or maybe it is the 17 inch wide screen I don’t know yet. But that is enough of my unstructured thoughts. I promises I will proofread anything else I post and I will sleep like I should also. TO say sorry for ranting if you want a gmail invite comment and junk. Now I am off to get a coke-cola. Have a good night and junk.
